Why an elephant?
When elephants sense one of their own is vulnerable, the mothers turn inward and form a circle — every calf protected at the center. No contracts. No corporation. Just mothers, circling up.
On March 16, 2017, Karmel learned about the global childcare crisis — 350 million children who need care and can't get it — and saw that same circle: mothers protecting each other's babies as their own.
Momni is that circle, made real. Mom + omni — Latin for all. Because the answer to the childcare crisis was never a corporation. It was always us.
